Accountability:
Reporting to the Foremen in Drayton Valley, these positions are responsible for, but not limited to:
- Optimize and troubleshoot daily well and facility operations in a cost effective manner
- Operation and maintenance of oil wells and facilities
- Daily input and balancing of data into PVR
- Ensure a safe and cost effective operation
- Mentor and train junior staff to promote a safe and efficient operating environment
- Ensure operations meet or exceed all government and industry standards
- Shift work required.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 12 years of operating experience in the oil and gas industry
- Minimum of a Grade 12 High School diploma
- Knowledge of conventional multi well oil batteries and of single well batteries and tank treating systems
- Compressor operating knowledge would be an asset
- Operational background with inlet separation, fired oil treating equipment, production tanks and saltwater disposal pumps
- Valid Class 5 drivers license
- Must be organized with strong attention to detail while managing multiple priorities
- Ability to identify problems and develop solutions
- Ability to clearly communicate at all levels
- Excels in a team work environment
